Plot: During the Civil War, U.S.Army scouts Gene Autry (Gene Autry) and "Cougar" Claggett (Pat Buttram) are detailed to Utah to bring in Confederate guerilla raider Wade McQuarrie (Jim Davis) who is interfering with Federal supply lines.
